| aurasoleil's Full Review: Motorola Timeport P935 |
I started off with the Motorola T900 and loved it. I was able to communicate with my parents, coaches, and friends no matter where I went. However, I'd always wanted the P935. This was the top of the line (within a semi-reasonable price range), and I jumped all over it as soon as I saved up enough money. The best indicator of this pager's flexibility came on a recent trip to Colorado.
My pager woke me up at the time I set it to, and again at the time I set it to leave for the Flyaway.
On the Flyaway to LAX, I checked the status of my departing flight. I sent a message to my Dad's email at home telling him that I'd arrived at the airport safely. I sent a text message to my Mom's business phone (she'd pick up the phone and the text I'd written would be spoken in a digitized voice), and two-wayed a couple friends while I was waiting to board my flight. I also got the current and future weather forecasts for Denver, Colorado, and the schedule of the MLB teams that would be playing later on that day.
Once on the flight, I turned off the transmitter so as not to interfere with the plane's signals and proceeded to play Draw 21 and Ship 2 Ship (aka Battleship). Once I touched down on the ground, I turned on the transmitter again and received the messages that had been sent while I was on the plane. I emailed and two-wayed my parents and friends, got my horoscope, and got the status of a package I'd be receiving via UPS, all on my pager. All the while, it reminded me of events I'd had scheduled later that day and allowed me to set a To-Do list, complete with check-off boxes when I'd finished the task.
I love this pager, I love being able to download alert tunes and setting different ones according to my mood. I love the convenience of having everything I need all in one pager, and I love the envious stares I get whenever I'm out.
