We chose the Evenflo Trendsetter Travel System with the birth of our second child. I had heard good things about this system, and I loved the idea of not having to wake the baby to get him out of his car seat to put him in his stroller or vice versa.

It was wonderful while my child was still small enough to fit into the infant seat. It attached and detached easily from the car seat base and stroller. The car seat was very, very secure and fit well in the back of our SUV. The carseat cover was somewhat tedious to remove to wash. I liked that, with the canopies, we could cover him completely to keep him out of the wind or rain, and still be able to see him clearly through the clear plastic window. The reclining seat is also nice if your baby falls asleep while you are out.

After about 6 months, the wheels begin to squeak slightly, and we noticed the axles had warped. We never used his stroller on rough terrain. WD40 didn't help the squeaking, and it's progressively gotten louder and louder over the past few months. After 1 year (where we are now), the wheels squeak so loudly that we will not even use the stroller out in public. I'm now searching for a suitable replacement stroller for our toddler with wheels that won't squeak.

I have found over the months that it has been cumbersome to open from a folded position, and is also very heavy. It takes up half the room in the back of our SUV. I wish they would invest a little more into this product to prevent the warping axles and the squeaky wheels, to make it lighter and easier to unfold, and this could be a 5 star stroller, in my opinion.
