Pros: Great sound, awesome looking screen and detailed controls
Cons: Complex menus, not easy to adjust while driving
The Bottom Line: An absolutely EXCELLENT value. I have a friend who has a system with subwoofers and custom-added speakers; just having this deck makes even my factory system sound MUCH better.

I LOVE this unit (especially the dolphins). Pioneer has pulled off yet another amazing feat (I've always liked Pioneer). Anyway...to the details. I like ALMOST everything about this deck.
----------------------------------------------------------
A list of what I feel is great about this head-unit:
----------------------------------------------------------
-Great sound quality [it plays a nice full frequency range, and allows you to customize almost every aspect of how your audio sounds. You have pretty much full control of how your audio sounds. You can even set the different initial input levels for different components you have connected (it will auto-detect some things)]
-Excellent display [the display shows all the information you would want, and it looks cool while doing it. It has the dolphins (my favorite), and ancient wonders (pyramids and stonehenge-like stuff). You can turn motion on/off with the options, and you can change between options by pressing a button. It shows the track titles of CD-text cds or CDs that you have programmed the titles for, and a clock (small and in a corner when you are playing music)]
-Detailed controls [the unit lets you control everything, including dimming of the display when you turn on your headlights (helps to keep your eyes off swimming dolphins and pyramids and spinning CDs and floating On-Air signs and all the other eye-catching things). You can control what frequency ranges individual parts of your car will play back (helpful if you have subwoofers or have installed your own speakers in a custom configuration). You can also choose the "polarity" of your subwoofer(s) (if you have any). This means you can choose if you have them pointing out the back of your car or into the passenger area, allowing the unit to maximize sound quality for your particular set-up. Basically you can control everything.
----------------------------------------------------------
Things I dont particular like (very few and minor details)
----------------------------------------------------------
-Options [There's SO MANY OPTIONS (NOT A BAD THING AT ALL)! However, it makes it hard to adjust while your driving. If you set-up your presets to optimum positions when you first get it installed, you shouldn't have any problems...That's it! (see, its not really something i hate)]
