| nissan21's Full Review: Creative Labs Nomad II (64MB) MP3 Player |
I purchsed my Nomad back in December, and was supprised to see that they are still very close in price to what I paid for mine. I use this MP3 Player every day, and have never had a problem with it.
Realistically the memory that comes with the Nomad II will hold an hour or so of music, so be willing to shell out the extra money for a 64mb card.
Being a USB capable product, transfer times between the player and the computer is still not as fast as I would have liked, and a effort must be made to load the player fully.
Two things I can attest to include durability and battery wear. I have dropped the player many times, usually on sidewalks, and aside from scratching the case, it still fires right back up. I do wish a rubberized case was available.
Batterys tend to last about 12 hours or so, I will replace the single AA battery usually once a week, but thats a small price to pay
