Pros:- Easy to use and install - Prize
Cons:- Manuals - My cablemodem doens't like this thing
The Bottom Line: This is easy and cheap way to get a "tv".

Hey !

I got my Pinnacle PCTV pro just a week ago
and I'm not specialiced with this yet, but after
this one fantastic week I can tell you this.

I got a cheap 17" "tv" and a radio also.
This thing cost me only 100€ something like 90$.

The card itself was really easy to install. Even my mom could have done that. You just have to plug the card to your PCI slot and connect the cable.

When the card is installed the software will make some tests to your computer. Software tested my graphic card and direct x driver.

And when you first time start the PCTV vision software it will automatically search the channels. Now you are ready to use.

The software itself is easy to use. You can use it manually with your mouse or with the remote control which is included in the package. There are 6 different sizes to choose from and two aspects 16/9 and 4/3. You can also use teletext and the normal brightness, sharpness etc. funtions.

You can also connect your vhs or dvd player to the PCTV pro card. It has s-video and composite inputs on it.

You can record programs with the scheduler. Just insert the starting time, channel and the stop point, but remember to have your computers clock on time 'coz this card doesn't record with the cable singnal.

When you've recorded the programs you can easily burn them on vcd, svcd or dvd. PCTV vision has an burning software on it. You just choose between vcd, svcd or dvd. Drag the program to "burn" slot and click the button burn. Very easy.

The radio works like the tv.
