Pros: MP3, Cd, VCD all in one, many accessories
Cons: very poor Anti-shock, battery life, weak looking casing
The Bottom Line: Get a player that has only mp3-cd feature and just use DVD player to watch VCDs.

| samimpl's Full Review: A-MAX DAV310 Personal CD Player |
This unit used cost over $100 on eBay before. Now, your crazy if you spend more than $50 on this unit. There are reasons for this...
Although, this player plays mp3 cds, vcds, and regular cds, it does them very poorly. I bought this unit to listen to mp3 cds and regular cds in my car with a tape adapter since it was too big to be really portable, and watch my vcds that I burned on my tv. I could have forgiven the poor sound quality but, it skipped my cds and mp3 cds so much that I really couldn't use it in my car. Even with the anti shock on, it will constantly skip!!! The vcds it played well, but I couldn't watch them for too long since it would heat up. Besides, I can now watch those vcds on my DVD player or the Playstation 2. There really isn't a place for it any more... If you are looking for a vcd player, get a DVD player. If you looking for a portable mp3 cd player, get other mp3 cd player without vcd feature. It will be smaller, tougher, have better sound quality, and better anti-shock. (Heck, with the price I paid, I could have gotten one of those mini-cd/mp3 players!)
