I called Verizon to cancel service when my contract ended. A month later I was still getting bills. I called to ask why. They said I signed a new contract and requested another phone. After two months of calling they admitted their mistake and promised to credit and close my account. Two weeks later I received an early termination fee called again. They promised again to cancel the fee. Two weeks later I received a letter from a collection agency. I called Verizon and they finally closed my account. I spent hours canceling this account after honoring my original agreement.
