I have been a member of mypoints for about 4 years. I receive many emails everyday, which I look at the advertisement so I can get points. In the 4 years that I have used the service I have only redeemed points a couple times and have only made one purchase from a partner site that I got points for. Every time though that I have used the service it has required email after email to get anything done. The first time I ordered something with my points it was to be a Christmas present for someone. I ordered it in November thinking that should give plenty of time to get there. Oh no that wasn't enough time, it was the end of January before I got it and that was after I emailed them after Christmas and told them to forget it. Well when I told them I wanted to cancel the order and I wanted my points back they all of a sudden found that it had already been shipped but the shipment was lost or delayed somewhere. Needless to say they ticked me off. Then my next experience was ordering flowers through their site at FTD.com. I ordered the flowers in March and didn't get the points until June. It took 8 emails and contacting the BBB in 2 states before they decided to stop screwing me around and give me the points. I was sent the same canned email every week for 5 weeks saying that my points had been deposited and would be available in 7 days.
Now I am currently trying to get a gift certificate I ordered almost a month ago and the last email I got back from them said that they didn't have any and would give my points back one month from the date ordered if they did not have any by then. So they are basically selling merchandise they do not have. I have already contacted the BBB again which seems to be what it takes to get anything done with these people.
