Kid Crafts: Coat Hanger FriendsJan 25 '01 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line Encourage projects that force kid's to use their imaginations. We have craft night at least one time a week. Not only is it fun but it is a special time. Do you have wire hangers that you just don't what to do with? Here is a cute idea to turn those hangers into a great craft idea to do with the kids. It is fun and easy. COAT HANGER FRIENDS NEEDED MATERIALS: Coat Hanger Old nylon stockings Cloth tape Yarn, felt scraps, buttons, wiggly eyes, etc. Scissors Glue HOW TO MAKE THEM: 1. Stretch the hanger into a diamond shape, then pull the stocking over it and tie at the bottom. 2. Bend the hook into an oval and tape it in place so it wont poke the children. 3. Decorate the puppet however you would like. Make your own creation. You will be surprised what kid's will come up with. Let their little imaginations run wild. Your kid's will love to name these special puppets and they may even want to give you a puppet show. This is such a fun project. Doing special things with the kid's like this will touch their hearts forever. I believe in spending quality time with my kid's and our crafting time is our special time.  |
