I got the SB Audigy Gamer about 5 months ago due to the fact that my integrated sound card the VIA AC '97 was going crazy. The card was SIMPLE to install for me, just move the CD ROM audio cable and snap it in then install it. I have an MSI KT266Pro2 motherboard with an Athlon 1800+ and I had NO problems with installation. The games that it comes with include Deus Ex: GOTY and Giants: Citizen Kabuto which were both GREAT games in my opinion. The audio during the games with EAX turned on was crisp and smooth and sounded FAR FAR better than my old integrated audio card. The other programs such as Creative Playcenter 3 and FireNet are wonderful too. I love the built in Firewire port on the Audigy cards because I do some DV on my computer and using say, USB would be awful compared to FireWire. The Audigy gamer's full EAX support is amazing to describe it in the least. I have been a bit TOO addicted to putting reverb and DREAM settings into my Mp3's right now. This card is a great buy for about $100 retail and you won't regret buying this, I guarantee you.
