Qwest unclear on customer service

Pros:At least I have a dial tone.
Cons:Having chosen Qwest in the 1st place.
The Bottom Line: AVOID if at all possible!!!!!

Well, where to start.

Order phone service (3 lines). Told I needed a letter of credit from past company or I would have to place a deposit to make long distance calls. (I had moved from one state to another.) Provided that the next day. Called later to check something and discovered the order was placed right. Would have been charged twice as much as should have been. Told order corrected.

Phones installed and picked my LD carrier the next day. Told it would take 3 days to complete the order. 2 weeks later and I still don't have it. Have placed several calls and been on hold for a LONG time to be told either - "we can't do that here, then told you did to do that with the last department you are on the phone with" or that'll be done in 3 days" or " I show that it should be working" or you have a block on your line" or .......

In the middle of this I received a call from another local provider and will be changing as soon as I can!

If at all possible AVOID Qwest!!!!!
