I'm an Akashik customer, having "inherited" a web sit from the fellow who set it up.
When they went down (for at least several hours) a couple of weeks ago, I panicked, and tried to contact them, only to discover that there was no usable phone number of any sort. The Australian phone number (61) 0402 258 245 in their domain registration info doesn't work.
Their site was down, but fortunately Google's cache still had it. But I found that there were no phone numbers for the company anywhere on their site. I Googled Akashik and found the proprietor's name: Greg Moore. But he apparently has an unlisted phone number. There was a "G. Moore" listed in his town, but I called and it was the wrong person.
Fortunately, after a few hours the site came back up again on its own.

Hi Tom,
Our website was briefly down due to an internet wide DDOS attack starting at 11:30pm last night. This DDOS attack affected a vast amount of the internet - us included.

Thanks Tom, I did get an email from Akashik letting me know that the server had been getting some maintenance yesterday. They are very good about responding. One thing I really like is being able to communicate with the host, and this one has been helpful.

Thanks for the feedback, KC. Of course, the features depend on how much you pay, same as anywhere else. If you want to know what you get for a given price, it would be best to visit akashik.net and click on the hosting page, where there is a comparison of the plans. I did mention that I found them to be half as expensive as the top names. I don't know any provider that doesn't offer a spectrum of features and prices. Many change on a monthly or weekly basis, so it would be difficult to include specific features and pricing in any review, since I don't control them.
As far as how my accounts are working, I gave the URL in the original post, so you are welcome to try it. I have no complaints to date.

I would have liked to have seen more about the services, like what other features do they offer with your account, how are your accounts working right now. Maybe even more information about their pricing since it seems like they do have a range for their pricing.
