Just a correction, but I believe SSX stands for Snowboard Supercross, the "X" being "cross". Anywho, good review

The TRUE merits of a 4/5 score (Reply to this comment)
by xeno3998
4/5 might be above average to all you 'hawks' out there, but it ain't to me and I'm doin' all I can to stop this cherade. Look Plat Ryda-man, 4/5 is a REALLY good score, and you should stop giving out ever-so-frequent 5/5s that make your reviews seem uninteresting. If you want people to listen to you and buy the games you TRULY think should get 5/5, then you can't give out that highly acclaimed prize to just about anything. Alright, so maybe SSX is seen by you as a masterpiece, but I would NEVER EVER EVER give a 5/5 to SSX, I don't know why, degenerate nature I spose

A humble suggestion... (Reply to this comment)

Having never played any PS2 title yet, (it's pretty backwards here in New Zealand) your review reminded me of another snowboadring title, hailed as "groundbreaking" by almost every videogame magazine: 1080 Snowboarding on the N64. Then again, as I've said, I've yet to play the game, so this view might be a little premature.
Nevertheless, you have written a great review -keep up the good work.
