I was introduced to Napster by my father who is a self admitted computer nerd. I was surprised to see a lot of my favorite music, including Dr. Dre and other artists that I knew from my childhood.

The only problem that I had was that after playing my CD's, I found that the song will be cut off, or skip. This is a small price to pay for the fact that is free.

I get sick and tired of hearing that one minute, Napster is being ordered by the courts to shut down, then it is being extended. This is something that the courts should have no control over, Napster is not a monopoly. There are other sites such as Launch.com that you can chose to download music from.

I would rather get my music for free and have to spend the money on the blank CDs, than to buy a CD from the record stores. I like Napster, and although I will check out other sites to see their selection of music, I will continue to use Napster to get my music from.
