Everyone of those you highlighted are jazz greats I've enjoyed since a small child of 3 or 4 (earlier than that, I'm sure, though can't actually remember since I was so young). My mom used to sing with a band and these were her favorite jazz artists whose pieces she often "borrowed" for her performances.

...of classic performers. Nice to know people are interested in getting "back to basics" when it comes to something as cool as jazz.
