A Real Taste of Old Taos by ragwoman1 | Aug 16 '02 Pros: Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff, central to most Taos attractions Cons: Parking can be tight, spiral staircases to our room didn't allow for bulky suitcases

Hello. Sorry so late in responding to your query--getting ready to send middle child to college.
I actually only visited one suite and that was the one we stayed in, but at breakfast one morning, we met some lovely women who were staying in the Kit Carson Room. They told about the great decor and wonderful western "feel" of the room. La Dona Luz's website has full-color pics of all the rooms and tells a story with each one.
Please let me know if I should add text to my original review, and if so, how to do that. Thanks.

I've always liked visiting Taos! You have reminded me it has been too long1

This is a great review, except it doesn't really tell us much about the rooms themselves. Could you tell us more?
