Kidzeyes.com - The kids only survey site that pays them cash!
Aug 16, 2002
Kidzeyes.com is an online survey site that allows children between the ages of 6 - 14 to participate in surveys and earn points for their participation. The points can then be redeemed for cash. There are also surveys that give you points and also give you an entry for prizes. These are the super surveys and there is 1 super survey a month.
Registering with kidzeyes.com is simple but does take time. Kidzeyes does allow you to register online. It does take quite a few minutes to register, since it does ask plenty of questions, but this is to insure that you will be contacted for surveys that appeal to you. They aren't going to send a survey about a gameboy if your child doesn't own one. Once you register your child online and before they will be allowed to participate, you will need to print the permission form, sign it, and then mail it to kidzeyes via postal mail.
Since the site is geared towards children, they do ask for the childs email and name. If your child does not have his/her own email, that is fine since you can choose to have the emails sent to you for your child. They also ask for home address and this is important since they will need your home address when you redeem the points for cash. They also need a mailing address since they sometimes send out a video or a cd-rom game for the child to view prior to answering questions on it.
Our personel experience
My oldest son who is almost 8 years old has enjoyed taking part in the surveys. Sometimes the surveys seem a little long for him, but he gets through it eventually. Most of the times I am the one sitting at the computer reading him the questions and marking the answers with his answer.
The surveys all come to my email account. The survey for my son will say in the subject line "A Kidzeyes survey for (my son)" and then I will also receive another email addressed to me saying that a survey was sent to my son. If my son had his own email address, they would obviously send him the survey and then send me an email alerting me that kidzeyes sent him a survey. They do this so that parents are aware of everything and nothing sneaky is going on.
Most of the surveys award anywhere from 100 - 300 points. Each point is worth a penny. Once you have 1000 points, the child can redeem the points for a $10.00 check that will be mailed out. I let my son redeem his points at 2500, which means he gets $25.00 each time. The check does come in the childs name, but since they are a minor, if you sign their name and then your own name, you shouldn't have a problem with the bank.
The longer the survey, the more points awarded. And the surveys that have an actual product always award more points. My son has been sent 3 videos in the past 2 years that he was allowed to keep after viewing. After he viewed the the videos, he then would answer a survey on it and was awarded 500 points each time.
Other surveys he has completed included different cereals, questions about the type of games he plays, what movies he enjoys, and what television shows he likes. The list can go on & on, but those are the majority of the survey topics.
My son gets to fill out at least 2 - 3 surveys per month. Some of the surveys award points and entries for prizes like t-shirts, gameboys, scooters, etc. Very few of the surveys just reward entries for the prizes.
Kidzeyes.com is a safe site for children. My son is very comfortable answering the questions, even if I am the one asking him. He has never dreaded doing a survey and of course he loves getting the money for the surveys and doing his own shopping with his own money.
If you have a child ages 6 - 14, then I would highly recommend signing them up for kidzeyes.com. It's an easy way for your child to earn a few dollars for just answering simple questions.
