DVD Price Search is a must for the DVD enthusiast! Possibly the most comprehensive, current and complete search engine for DVD price comparisons.
I recommend DVDpricesearch.com for the following reasons:
1. Their search engine allows you find information about any DVD ever released, such as: MSRP, theatrical release date, DVD release date, screen and sound format, and there is a brief synopsis for each DVD in thier database.
2. You can search for DVDs by title keywords, actor/director, and by price (if you're not looking for anything specific, but just something cheap) at any one of 30 Internet DVD merchants.
3. They always have new releases listed the day they are announced for release, and they keep a frequently updated list of the 40 most popular DVD titles.
The most important feature: Their price comparison. For every DVD you search for, you can compare prices for that DVD between the most popular Internet merchants (they track over 30, including half.com) that carry that title. Along with the merchant prices they list shipping and handling prices and allow you to resort by the combined price. Right along these columns are listed any coupons available at the store and how you qualify to receive the current discount. This allows you to find the true lowest price on your favorite DVD.
I check out this site every time I am looking to buy a movie. It's better than pricegrabber.com for DVDs and even lists more merchants than epinions.
