Pools are not Enchantment's strong suit
Written: Aug 21 '02
Pros:GREAT rooms, welcoming atmosphere, spa, setting
Cons:pool and jacuzzi
The Bottom Line: If you enjoy going to the pool a lot, or have kids that do, Enchantment is not reccomended.
The Enchantment Resort had a welcoming atmosphere. Fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh spring water was delivered to your door every morning, for each person in the room.
The rooms were MAGNIFICENT, perhaps the best I've ever stayed at. We had a suite, and it included a mini-kitchen, a mini-dining room, a bedroom, a pull-down bed on the wall, a spacious living room, 2 bathrooms, and an overlooking balcony.
The resort also had a room for chess and checkers.
They had a Put-Put and a Pitch and Swing golf course, both in poor conditition.
I recommend a restaurant in town called "Dahl & DiLuca's", an Italian restaurant. I also reccoment taking a Red Rocks Jeep tour.
The worst part of this resort was the POOL AND JACUZZI, which always required maintenance. The jacuzzi was even shut down all day when we were there, because the water turned GREEN. It was usually dirty even before it was shut down and even after. The pool was small, and dirty. Bugs were ALL OVER the surface of the water. Almosy always you even had to ask for maintenance before getting in!
The spa, however, I've heard is wonderful, with a variety of treatments.
