Dont give up !!!! Well quite franckly i use Yahoo! and i NEVER had any problem i swear!!! As soon as you open the account build some filters with words like "sex" "loans" "taxes" "breast" and man you'll never be disturbed .
i receive like one of two spam every 10 days which is pretty good.
And if you believe in paid services yahoo!'s definitly have the best price and allows you to archive emails intxt formats that are Outlook Express compatible, 25 MB for your inbos, no tag line, pop forwards access...
Hotmail is visually attractive and to my mind this is the only reason people sign for it today ... what else !!! But for a daily use... go with yahoo!!

I very much like your thorough review for its balanced account of the pros and cons of using the Hotmail service. For those of you who have grown tired of Hotmail may I recommend Myrealbox as an alternative web-accessible free e-mail service?

my hotmail acct gets 120+ emails a day, all junk. about 5 of those usually contain the kleez virus, i can recognize which one are those just by looking at the file size.
i use hotmail only to sign up to certain websites.

I have a hotmail account and the storage is enough for me. But I agree with the statements about the poor performance of the junk mail filters. The filter seems to block all my e-mail that is redirected from my cjb web site.

and it isn't even smart junk mail. I can't tell you how often I get solicited to increase my penis size. Considering I don't have one to begin with, that would be quite the wonder pill....
