I thought this was a great review but I agree with Karen's questions, I think that would make your review a VH.
Unlike her, when we have storms in Arkansas, our satellite is out for hours!!
I guess it varies~ohh you might want to add that local programming is not available yet in all areas. We have waited for years to add local stations but nothing yet :0(

I definitely agree. I have had Direct since early March. It has ended up costing me more than cable however, since we have 2 recievers (one of them is a TiVo, an additional $10 a month) and the locals cost another $5, but it was worth it to me.
Just a few questions for people that are thinking about switching to Satellite...
*How much did you decrease your bill by?
*How is your reception in a storm? (mine goes
out for a few minutes if it is bad out)
*What are some of the additional channels you get that Cable didn't offer?
