Pros: None
Cons: keyboard, pointers, hard drive, service
The Bottom Line: Each time I use a Dell, I am amazed with its poor quality, and Dell's poor support. Most recently with the Latitude CPx. Don't buy a Dell, choose another vendor.

| comp_geek's Full Review: Dell Latitude CPx |
A long time ago, my HP 486 desktop was replaced with a Dell p120. After 2 days, I screamed for the HP back, and developed a bad opinion of Dell.
Flash forward many years...
My company took my Compaq laptop, and gave me a Dell Latitude CPx. Same old, same old. The pointer configurations are just plain silly and faulty. The keyboard has been replaced twice (I've never had another keyboard replaced in my life), and has just broken again. The hard drive (or it's controller) is so slow its frustrating.
Dell's website is another problem. Cannot access any support without registering; get a dictionary and look up PRIVACY Dell!
Technical support will either blame Microsoft (never mind the 'Designed for Windows 2000...' sticker on the front of the laptop), or say you need more RAM (the chorus of support everywhere).
I'll never buy a Dell, will never suggest a Dell, and have told all my IT friends/clients to stay far, far away from Dell.
