You don't see many reviews that rate Compaq ahead of Dell. Hope you eventually get a system that suits your needs.
You might want to add more details about this system to better help potential customers though, battery life, a better description of why you don't like the pointer, some measure of how slow the hard drive is, screen quality, some measure of performance based on your experience, etc.
