One other thing you can do is install the OS with your hard drive on the regular ATA/66 channel, then install the Promise ATA/100 drivers (the newest of which can be downloaded from the Asus website), and then move the hard drive to the ATA/100 channel. That might make installation a little easier, since you don't have to mess with a driver disk and all.
