Cell phones, cell phones, cell phones, everyone must have one these days. I purchased my cricket phone when cricket was first available in the northern colorado area. I paid 29.99 after the mail in rebate (got the nokia 5100i). I hardly ever travel outside the northern colorado area. This phone NEVER has dropped a call, and ive had this phone for almost 9 months now.
There is an extended calling area available for people in colorado to include the entire front range, for an additional 7.00.
I used to pay 32.99 plus tax for their basic service. However, cricket recently upgraded their service to include a bunch of features for just 39.99 a month. THIS INCLUDES 500 minutes of LONG DISTANCE, DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE,INTERNATIONAL CALLS, Call waiting, Caller ID, 3 way calling, and voice mail and of course unlimited local calling.!!!! My friend pays almost 50.00 a month for the same services and she had to sign a 2 YEAR contract for her terrible service.

My friend purchased a phone through Verizon, and her phone constantly drops calls. Shes always grabbing my phone because she doesnt want to use up her minutes. I have found this phone service to be excellent. I have never had problems getting through to a customer service rep nor have a gotten a rep that was rude.

Cricket also has Text MEssaging available for an additional 4.99 a month.. HOWEVER its unlimited unlike the other providers who charge 4.99 for so many words.
There are also dead zones in my area for all phones, but i must say i havent had problems through them with my cricket phone.
