Verizon is HORRIBLE!!

Pros:They are all over the country
Cons:Horrible customer service.
The Bottom Line: Avoid Verizon if at all possible.

I would not recommend Verizon to anyone. They have horrible customer service. The sales people, although very nice, do not know anything. And, if you are unfortunate enough to have to call their national service center......good luck. Those people don't know anything either and they are rude!

Their rate plans seem to be higher priced than other cellular companies. They charge for extra minutes, even if your paid minutes have not been used up.

They told me that I would need a different phone when I moved to a new market. So I bought a new phone, only to discover when I moved to a different state that I did not need this new phone; the old one would have worked fine. Thus, I was forced to be a newer more expensive phone that I did not need.

They also sold a friend of mine a phone, and when she had problems with it a few months later, they informed her that they could not service it since they no longer sold that model. She was without service for several months, because of this and still had to pay for her service.

If you need cellular service, I would highly recommend that you look at any other carrier besides Verizon. Having cellular service through them has been nothing but a headache.
