I guess I never thought about range..sorry(: Well I still have the phone so that's the good news and I think the range is good. I can take it outside with me (I don't live on 3 acres though!) and have no problem. Hope this helps. I will go to the website and get that info if you want a specific distance or just want to know if I can take it outside. Thanks for reading. jo

I'm so glad you took my advice and checked the bottom of the phone for the model number----and it turned out to be a first review, too!

I just bought this phone yesterday at my local Wal-Mart for $49.94. I haven't used it yet but from your recommendation I am optimistic that it will reduce the static.
