this review coulda gone into a few more technical details but i suppose the kind of people who buy computers from dell or compaq prolly wouldn't understand anyway.
I just upgraded to XP when I got my new hard-drive - 80GB :P - and I love it too. My fan goes from Boeing to peepless also - I wonder why they do that. Mad'll prolly know.

I am so ready for a new computer...and I'll buy Compaq again too. We have really had relatively few problems with this one, but we've had it almost four years...so you've gotta know that the amount of memory is pretty limited. It does whacky things now...but I think it is just getting a lil bit tired. :)
I love you review, and am going to look into this machine...I just don't have a fortune to spend, and this model Compaq sounds like it would solve that problem.
