Ease of Use:
Pros:Excellent colors, easy on the eyes, no flickering
Cons:Could not get the screen geometry as perfectly aligned as I wanted to.
The Bottom Line: The colors and the sharpness are absolutely the best I've come across in monitors till now. The price tag might be high but its worth it.
I bought this monitor online after noticing that it had a $150 mail-in rebate. (check out the Compaq offer at their site, I think the rebate expires sometime in October 2002). I've been using it for 2 weeks now and I must say I am very impressed by the excellent picture quality, sharp colors and the easiness on the eyes. My roommate has a Samsung 753DF which I thought was the best monitor available but this one is indeed much better !
The accompanying speakers are nothing phenomenal but the sound quality is very crisp so they are very good as far as comp. speakers go.
I could not, however, get the picture exactly aligned with the monitor edges. I tried everything but still the picture is kind of tilted a bit w.r.t either the top edge or the bottom. Its not very noticeable though.
Its around $400 most of the sites online but I'm sure you can find it for much cheaper if you look hard enough. I ended up paying $150 for it after the rebates. Its a steal at that price!
BTW, it looks very cool too, what with the silver and black finish.
