Thanks for your wonderful review. It confirmed other reviews I have read of this hotel. I have heard that the concierge often serves hot cocoa to guests who come in late from a night on the town. I agree that being pampered is well worth being off the beaten path. I am going to Amsterdam next month and already have my room booked.
