This is the third time I have attempted to let Wal-mart know about a bad experience I had in their tire department at the Wal-mart on the Allentown Pike in Reading, PA. I went to purchase 4 new tires for my car, they checked the stock and had the 4 tires I wanted in the correct size, so I signed the paperwork to do the work, and walked around the store, about 20 minutes later I noticed my car was in the work bay and I walked around about 45 minutes more. I went to check on the progress of my car and sat in the waiting area about 20 minutes or so later the manager came to me and told me that they didn't have the tires I wanted and that the person who helped me 'isn't from this store and has no idea what he is doing' and that they could put 2 tires from one brand and 2 tires from another brand on. I of course refused and said that the individual who helped me originally had checked and they had the Michelin's that I wanted in. They checked again and about 20 minutes later they 'found' them and again brought my car back in to the work bay. All in all it took over 3 hours to have 4 tires put on. and when I went to pay the manager of the tire area and the person that had told me they would put on 2 different brands hid. I got no apology for my wait, I was never asked if I wanted to extra tire service protection for rotation or flat fixes, needless to say I will NEVER buy tires from Wal-mart again and I have told others of my experience and recommended they do the same. I have contacted wal-mart directly about this to have no response the week of July 18th, I sent a complaint through Planet Feedback August 20th to no response and now I am trying here. I think it really stinks that they have absolutely no response to such POOR service!
