| NealsCaddy's Full Review: Dell Dimension XPS B800 |
Firstly, this machine runs (the one we had, at least) Windows NT 4.0 with impressive performance.
It also come with a 8x4x32x CD-RW drive and an Iomega Zip 100 drive.
Internal cards include a 56K modem , a network card, and a Celestica Nvidia GeForce 256 graphics card with 32 MB of RAM.
This machine even uses high-speed RDRAM, which happen to be expensive.
There are a couple down points:
1) This unit tends to be pricey
2) I've also heard of insufficient documentation being included with Dell computers (not necessarily this one)
The actual case is a midsize tower, with three open drive bays… plenty of expansion room. Also, tech support for Dell is legendary.... right now, it's 24/7, toll-free.
