I found flipside.com when they took over Wordox, a game I have played for over a year, which I used to play on oxygen.com. I never knew what I was missing!
Flipside has TONS of games, everything from casino games to single player games, word games, puzzle games, a cool effect-filled version of Solitaire, board games, and even email games. I have played several of the games on this site over the last few months.
Contrary to the blurb epinions has listed about flipside, membership is free (unless you want to play some of the casino games, in which case you are playing for money). You have to register and become a member though, which is quick and easy.
I still play wordox on this site (a game sort of like a dirty version of Scrabble), and really like it because there are always a lot of players online and they have a lot of tables. I have also played Reversi, Roofrats (dangerously addictive), Solitaire, Memory and I am currently playing checkers by email.
The site is very colourful and user friendly. Users earn 'flips' for playing different games, which are points that can be redeemed for prizes/merchandise or to enter contests.
As I mentioned in my pros/cons, this site is highly addictive; this can be a good or a bad thing, depending on how much stuff you can put off doing while you're playing! It's an awesome means of procrastination.
Overall I would say that flipside is the most extensive, user friendly games site I have been to.
