Pros: Color screen, ability to download midi files and pictures
Cons: Battery life.. complicated phone book
The Bottom Line: Good value if you get a used one on ebay.. would recommend that you get a second battery or one that has more capacity.

I got tired of going to radio shack every 6 months to get a new adapter for my TP2100 so I can use an earpiece with my phone and decided to get a new phone.
Didn't want to signup for a two year agreement or get a new line and number, so I wasn't going to get a discount on new phone if I went directly from sprint. So I decided to go used .. and went to ebay. My criteria for phone was simple.. had to be a flip with color that included wireless web, integrated 2.5mm jack, and easy way for me to transfer contacts to it... the result was the SCP-5000 from ebay.
Have had it for last 4 months .. and have three complaints.. 1. I wish the battery life was longer 2. I wish they made it easier to call alternate #s for a contact 3. I wish there were more speed dials.
It is relatively easy to download pictures, midi, and contacts .. they give you the cable and software to download midi files and pictures.. and you can purchase the contact sync product.
In future, I may upgrade to the 5150 and keep all of the accessories I got with it... the 5150 supports sprints next generation network and has better battery life.
