How's the t-shirt quality? (Reply to this comment)
by callalily
I'm considering using CafePress vs. a local screenprinter. I sure could get a lot more variety of styles for less money. I'm not looking to make a huge profit, I have been wanting to provide logowear for a while and this seems to be a great way.
But how is the quality? Do they wash well? Are the shirts cheap fabric or is it fairly good quality? How about the quality of the printing??
Thanks!

Hi,
I checked out your store and the logo looks clean and neat. My store ID is stonewoodgolf.com. It is listed under Recreation then Sports. Let me know what you think.
I sold several shirts, some commuter mugs, bags, caps and some sweat shirts. I just added Xmas ornaments. I'm sure having fun with this but not making any money off my friends. I sell everything at regular price.
Cool idea!

Great Review Glo! (Reply to this comment)

I'd give this the MH if I could. I'm not even gonna write a review of cafepress. Your review says it all. It is easy and FUN!!
BTW I have a cafeshop
www.cafepress.com/navehumor
My son rendered the logo, the original was done by Logofusion in Israel.
Check it out and tell me what you think?
I got everybody a mousepad or a mug for Xmas.

Hi,
I agree with you that this is what will probably happen. I just thought I'd stir things up a bit by speculating. Thanks for adding your thoughts and thanks for reading.

Hi Amy,
Thanks for the kind words. This was my first attempt in this category and I didn't know how much info to go into for it. I finally decided to set up a store and go the complete route. It was so easy. I've already gotten some orders although I'm not using it to make any money - just as fun source of products for our golf association.
I recommend this site to anyone who want logo ware items - teams, schools, family reunion organizers etc. It's so much less expensive than other avenues I've tried where you had to guaranteed a large order.
See you again.

Hi Jim,
Well aren't you nice to say what you did. I found the idea of CafeShops so great that I went ahead and set up a store. (See my update in the final paragraph of my review.) The process was so easy.
I truly don't understand why Epinions doesn't continue to use its own site to advertise its Epinions CafeShop products unless they have something else in mind like offering it to us insead of our checks. Time will tell. Thanks for commenting.

Hi,
There is no trick. For example if I wanted to check out Art Stores, I'd go to the CafePress homepage and CLICK on the Art category listed first on the main page. Then since I'm interested in Architecture, I'd CLICK on that subcategory when the page changes. Then I'd look through the offerings there. They just come right up for me.
Where are you having a problem? I tried my husband's computer and I can bring them up easily there also.
Some times computers can do strange things, though so perhaps there is some kind of incompatibility with your computer. Did you have any problem bringing up the Epinions shop? If you are interested in any particular category, let me know and I could email you the store ID names so you could search them that way.
I just set up a store for my golf friends in FL. We wanted to do this for a year now and I finallly found a great way - and less expensive way than the ones others suggested we try. See if you can bring it up by searching it through its exact ID: StonewoodGolf.com. I had so much fun doing it and don't care whether any of them order anything. I'll give them as gifts to my golf friends for their birthdays, etc. What a cool site.

Hey Barbara,
Read the update I recently added to my review - final paragraph. If I can open a shop so easily anyone can. Good luck.
This idea is fantastic. I had a ball. Just think - we know have the ability to create any design that we want and place it on many different kinds of items! I wanted to do this two years ago for a family reunion I organized for a trip to FL but the cost was prohibitive. If I can help you in any way, email me.

...Over why epinions might add yet another potential income source on their rapidly growing stockpile of wasted opportunities?
This review's high writing quality and informativeness deserve a "Most Helpful," but regrettably, my hands are tied by this ridiculous non-advisor rating restriction.

The Future. (Reply to this comment)

Dear Gloria: It may be that Epinions will add the Cafepress back on the site, after a little tweaking. They have done that kind of thing when they have made other changes.
Nice, thoughtful review.

I wouldn't care to get IS that way unless it makes me or EPS more, I suppose. Excellent review. You're on top of things.

My "Anniedoodle" sites on my profile page are Cafepress.com sites -- great to see the company reviewed here!
