We used pottery barn as one of our registry choices. Boy, did we get the run around after. They can not track on-line purchase from the retail stores and a lot of the items purchase on-line CANNOT be returned at the retail stores. In fact, the retail stores can practically do absolutely nothing to help with gifts or purchases from the on-line site. They claim its a "completely different store". OK, fine, but when you return an item from on-line, they only give store credit for either PB, William-Sonoma, or Hold Everything (which is not in my area.) If you are considering Pottery Barn as one of you wedding registry choices, my suggestion is to move on to others like C&B.
