I just left AT&T prepaid service, because of their lack of service, coverage, and reception. (If you want to learn more see my AT&T customer service review). Since I left them, about a 3 weeks ago, I needed a different service that had it. I looked at Sprint but they said they did not have prepaid anymore, so i looked at Cingular. I decided not to because of the lack of coverage they had. Plus a lot of my friends have it and said they hate the reception. So I looked at the new company T-mobile's prepaid plan, and was happy about the no roaming, and the minutes it included. BUT the minutes expired in about 15-30 days, compared to 45, or 60 with the other companies. Last but not least I looked at Verizon, I was happy about the coverage, compared to all the other cell phone prepaid companies. Also with AT&T i had to choose the local or national plan. the local only included southern California, but if i got national i lost half of my minutes!!! When i had just got my mom Verizon prepaid before i was stuck with AT&T and she was always getting a strong signal. Compared to my near nothing one one bar out of four all the time or the NO SERVICE once. So i decided to go with Verizon prepaid. WHAT a difference, i have a old Nokia 5185i too. Now i get four out of four or three out of four minimum!!! Plus their customer service has been a BIG difference!!! I haven't had a problem yet. Plus i don't have to talk to AT&T anymore they were really rude, or did not know anything!!! I am still happy with them and if i have a problem with them i will update this review faster then you can say good bye Verizon!!! So I really suggest them strongly!! Right now me and my mom are about to get a monthly fee from them, because their so good! (: VERIZON RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (: The only bad part about them is if you have prepaid with them then be prepared for a pain when you try to buy or upgrade to a new phone!!! I was going to get the Lg VX10 with them, and Then they gave me a price of 179.99 for it. Ok, its expensive, but i needed a new phone, at least I don't have to pay full retail price. But when I went in to buy it they changed the price on me. From 179.99 all the way up to the full retail price of 250.00. I got really mad, they told me i could get the phone for 179.99 dollars. BUT they said I would have to get a new number, pay 35 dollars to re activate, and lose the 15 dollars on my account that i had left, and pay another 30 dollars for a new card! Thanks But HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will go on Ebay, I got my phone 3 days ago and only paid 170.00 for it brand new never opened. So but overall it Very good
