Hanna Andersson sells apparel for the whole family, however the focus is mainly on children's clothes. I have been buying Hannas for several years now and have had mostly good results. MERCHANDISE All of the clothing is private label, meaning they ...

Great store for organic/green/health minded parents! (Reply to this comment)

I found Hanna Anderson's store after reading a review on organic baby clothing. They carry many organic cotton clothing items and those that aren't are tested for safety under the European Eco-label 100 standard which tests for 100 harmful substances! We love the fact that the clothes are tested for harmful substances even if we can't get organic cotton. It's May 2007 and right now Hanna has alot of sale items that make the clothes very affordable. But, then again, I didn't find the clothing that expensive. You get the quality you pay for and for us, as new parents, we would rather buy a limited amount of quality items than have to constantly replace and rebuy. Overall, the clothes are very unique, priced appropriately and high quality. It's one of the few stores that actually carries clothes that give life and style to your a child's wardrobe without requiring thousands of dollars. Recommended.

I love european kids clothing. It is much better quality and has more style than the muted colors and urban styles of the Gap. In my humble opinion, kids should wear bright colors and fun patterns. There is a boutique in my area that imports european clothes. They are very expensive, but the mark-downs at end of season are usually steep and there are some good deals. I buy a size up and put them away for the following year. Thanks for the comment.

I remember when I was in window display, all the really beautiful kid's clothes came from Florence Eisemann a manufacturer in my home town of Milwaukee. I used them in the windows and in case displays without provocation.

Nice review,

Hi,

The store sounds great but the prices seem too high for me. Thanks for sharing. I loved the review.
