Thanks a bunch for all your comments. Like I said, this album isn't perfect...it's young and raw. Happy listening :)

Awesome review... (Reply to this comment)
by JediKermit
This is a great review--even though I'm a HUGE U2 fan, I didn't get on-board until after I saw them in concert in 1998. Since then I've been converted, and seen the light, but I still have a problem with many of their pre-Joshua Tree albums. I'm gonna put this in right now and give it a listen. Thanks for the insights.

Wonderful read! (Reply to this comment)

I'm a fan of 'old' U2 ... and reading your review brought back so many fond memories! The people and places of highschool Saturdays ... all set to a sound track of U2, Echo and the Bunnymen, and the Stray Cats.

fabulously written opinion. This is one of my favourite U2 albums (all the early ones, don't like post Rattle & Hum). The triumvarate of An Cait Dubh, Into The Heart and Out Of Control gets me teary every time. Thanks again.

I'll probably always be a U2 fan, despite the fact that a few songs on Boy - U2 did not "stand the test of time".

As always, keep writing well!

I really like the older U2 stuff - it just seems to have some kind of spunk to it that the current stuff seems to lack. But hey, that's just my opinion :]
