| atamogaokashii's Full Review: Levi's Levi's® 514® Low Rise Flare Jeans... |
Let me tell you about these jeans. I mean, somebody has to. And now that I have discovered that you can actually review clothing here at Epinions, I thought what could be a better use of my "time that should be used for homework", than writing an Epinion? Yeah. I thought so.
I bought these jeans at JCPenney's. No, wait. That's a lie. My mom actually purchased them for me two years ago, and I am wearing them right this minute. That's just how long these jeans have lasted.
I procured two pairs of these jeans in two different colors. A medium stonewash and a color called "cross-hatch", a mixture of light and dark denim. There is also an exquisite color called "slub denim" available, in which there are strange stripes on the jeans. Due to my good taste, I refrained from even trying that variety on.
These jeans are found in the junior clothing section of department stores. Yeah, I bolded the word junior. Get over it. They come in sizes 1-13, and come in short (30"), medium (32"), long (34") inseams. They fit a bit lower on the hip than regular jeans, but I wouldn't call them hip huggers. I mean, they ain't no Britney Spears' jeans.
And the legs aren't the boring straight leg variety. Yeah, they flare. I said, they flare. A slight flare. They ain't no bell bottoms.
As already insinuated above, these jeans are a hardy variety. They last a long time as most Levi's tend to do. The material is of a heavy variety than other jeans, and they are made extremely well. These jeans are definitely long lasting.
So, teens, young women, and you silly "older" women who still insist on shopping in the junior section, these jeans are definitely recommended if you are looking for a trendy way to outfit your bottom half.
100% cotton. Machine wash warm normal cycle. Only non-chlorine bleach if needed. Tumble dry hot. Hot iron if needed. Wash and dry with light colors.
Too lazy to actually leave your computer and buy these jeans? They're available at www.JCPenney.com for about $35.
Beware...do not go to www.JCPenneys.com. You will be directed to a site called DVD universe or some crap like that. Those sneaky little buggers.
