Thank you both for the kind words.
I do plan on being a regular contributor here at Epinions, but I will only write about products that I think I have something substantive to add.
I write the kind of reviews that I like to read:
Long, in-depth reviews that really tell you what it is like to use the product.
My apologies to anyone who suffers through my long-winded reviews if you prefer shorter and more "to the point" reviews. :)

Well done and comprehensive review of this camcorder. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in covering many of the typical and not-so-typical features of this camera. Hope you are a regular contributor at Epinions.
