I myself do not like sports games that much but a friend of mine was playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 at school, and I thought it would be fun to give it a shot. Little did I know how addicting this game would become!
There are TONS of levels, and each level has like their own mini-level inside. The levels are huge and are impossible to discover in the time given so you can have fun by playing the same level over and over and over again discovering new places to grind and new gaps to jump.
You are not even required to know anything about skating to play this game! That is what I thought was fun too, I got to learn what some of the grinds, grabs, and jumps were called because of this great game.
Each level you are required to get items and collect points before you can move on, this is not HARD and not EASY it challenges even the most advanced skater and computer user.
You have to put your thoughts and game movements into one place so that you can beat it in the given time.
You can have free skates to practice your levels and skate online against friends. It's great to see who is the best THPS 2 PLAYER!!
The graphics for this game are also amazing, they are crisp and clear although semi-blocky in some points.
The only downfall I see is the time it takes to load the level, this could be the system I am running or the game itself I am unsure of that yet. It runs fine on a pIII 450, amd athlon 750, duron 600, pIII 500. I have played on all these systems with a video card that is equal or lesser than the ATI All In Wonder. The best card I played on was a TNT2 and it ran smoothly and looked great to me. You don't need the best and newest equipment out there to play this game!
You can even download the demo online! It's a great game and I am telling you give it a try you will like it!
