I have never been much of a musical guy. I used to play a little piano, but that's about it. Before ACID Music, I had never created any music on my computer. I was browsing the store, and came across ACID DJ. It was on sale, and looked pretty cool, so I bought it. I love this program! I have made really good sounding tracks with no prior experience. The CD-ROM comes with thousands of "loops" or music samples, that you mix together to make a song. You can buy upgrades to make Dance, Rap, or Rock music. One of my favorite things about this is you can convert the files to WMA or MP3 format, so you can share them with your friends, or fellow acid users on www.acidplanet.com. Not only is it easy and cool, but its very fun and addicting. Everyone would have fun with this product. The only thing that disapointed me about it was that I could not make my own CD with the software. You need to buy the "Pro" version, for $400, if you want to do this. Although if you really want to, you can simply convert your tracks to MP3, then use MusicMatch or something similar to convert to WAV. All in all, this is a great piece of software for a good price.
