I had been in the market for a new digital camera for about 1 year, ever since I saw the FujiFilm camera (released 2001) with the fantastic optical zoom at a local camera shop. Well, my old camera finally gave way, and so I decided to buy the FujiFilm FinePix S602. Buydig seemed to offer the best price, and also seemed to be more reputable than other stores listed on the web (you know, the ones located in midtown manhattan that bait and switch!) so I figured I'd give them a try!
First, their website seems simple compared to Amazon.com, but it is very easy to navigate and to find what you are looking for. I found my camera after only a few clicks off the homepage. Second, they offer a number of packages for the photo enthusiast, such as lenses, cases, filters, and batteries SHOULD YOU DECIDE you want them. Since I already had all the accessories they advertised (and they do list a whole bunch) I decided to just order the camera. I was expecting to hear back from them that the camera was out of stock or asking me to upgrade shipping or to add accessories or to switch me to a more expensive camera, which is the M.O. of the internet camera business. However, after placing the order and paying a reasonable shipping rate to CA, I NEVER RECEIVED A SINGLE PIECE OF BAD NEWS. The next day, I received an email from Fedex that the camera was in the mail. Okay, so at least they shipped SOMETHING I thought. We'll see what they sent a week later. HOWEVER, Fedex showed up in 2 days rather than 7 (apparently, my ground shipping charge went AIR at no additional cost to me) and my wife received the package at work. She opened it and said it looked like the right camera, but couldn't tell me much more.
Once I got home, I checked out the camera. 100% on target! The right camera, brand new, all accessories, warranty card, in original manufacturer's box, still sealed! Then, I hooked it all up. This camera worked perfectly. So to sum it all up: GREAT price, EASY ordering, FAST turnaround (from placing the order to having it ship out), SUPERFAST delivery, EXACT product, BRAND NEW in original packaging, VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER leaving this review. If you don't want to be toyed with, and just want a great product from a great dealer at prices I thought had to be less than retail, VISIT BUYDIG.COM.
Also, I am not easily impressed and very critical of internet stores having run an internet bookstore for 3 years. The combination of all the services above make it easy for me to leave this gushing review. I suggest checking them out!
