. . . with the Epinionators you mention here, MANY people writing here SHOULD be writing for major publications, you, Mike_Bracken, included. I tell you, with the amount of schlock out there that's supposed to pass for professional and illuminating writing that wastes space in our Newspapers and major weeklies/monthlies, it boggles my mind how some Epinionators haven't been sought out by agents.
And I want to add, Mike, that I truly appreciate your quest to expose us to some of the more unwarrentedly obscure movies out there, underscored by your pointing out some reviewers/reviews that have passed under the Epinions' radar.
Great addition to one of the better write-offs I've seen.

...but it's the only thing I can say, Mike. To make your list is quite an honor... and with a review that troubled me to no end to submit even! Most if not all the writers you've mentioned (even the ones you've listed below the reviews) would have easily made my list but it would've been aggravating to limit it to only ten writers. It would be extremely tough just to pick the top ten from your body of work let alone just one.
Thank you again... this has certainly made my day!

Cutting down on our heating bill here in merry ol' Colorado has meant me shivering and clacking through the morning shower and coffee routine. When I settled down with my jittery mug o'joe to log on to the mother ship, I discovered, to my alarm, that I had not only made your cut, but come out on top. That's high praise, Mike, and I'm speechless - not sure now if the chattering choppers is a result of the chill or the embarrassed adrenaline.
I'm humbled.

I'm not sure if my Very Helpful rating went through because I keep getting errors (GRRRRR). Just so you know, I did the old C&V on this whole review and put it on my writepad for easy reference. Like I didn't spend enough time on epinions already!

Gotta agree that this is no easy task... I'm having great difficulty just selecting 10 reviews.
I'm gonna "cheat" though and not focus on the film reviewers since I did that on the previous write off.
Hope to have it figured out by the weekend.
Appreciate the plug, and agree with you sentiments on the other great writers at the site. It was sure a lot easier to access them under the old interface though!
