Pros: AMAZING DETAIL IN NEWER 3D GAMES FOR A GOOD PRICE
Cons: NO FLAT PANEL-TO-SVGA ADAPTER FOR USING TWO SVGA MONITORS.
The Bottom Line: This card is a great value for the money giving you the 3D detail that today's games have plus fast 64MB DDR memory and video out. All for $130.

I upgraded from a TNT-2 card which I had been using for the past 2 years. The wake-up call was when I installed Unreal Tournament 2003, Soldier Of Fortune, and Medal Of Honor. The games looked a bit flat in the detail area and ran a little slower and choppy. I thought I would try a newer card just to see if there was any difference at all. BOY WAS THERE EVER!
It is absolutely amazing to see the amount of additional 3D detail I see in newer 3D intensive games like Unreal Tournament 2003, Quake 3, Medal Of Honor, etc. I see more detail in walls, floors, fog effects, and more. Also, the games run much faster and smoother. It's like night and day. The games turn into eye candy.
TNT-2 was great for older games like Quake 2 and Unreal Tournament but those cards do not take advantage of the more advanced 3D capabilities that today's games are designed to display.
I only paid $130 for it (not including a $20 rebate). Not bad for a card that also has a flat-panel connector and a video out.
This particular model, the Ti 4200 64MB is a good deal because it uses faster DDR memory. It is faster than some of the more expensive "MX" versions which use a slower SDR memory.
I was also considering an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro which sells for the same price. I know that ATI cards are known for their sharp image quality but I honestly don't know how much better it could be (if at all).
