My boss keeps trying to lure me into the PDA world, and the Zire is his latest offering. I'm not a technophobe, I'm a gadgetphobe and I've avoided adding a PDA to my cell phone and laptop arsenal because I don't want the added complication of yet another "productivity enhancer".
However, the Zire sounds like it might actually meet my needs by providing the necessary features (mainly the ability to synch with Outlook and carry that info in a disconnected mode) without a lot of other bells and whistles that I don't want anyway.
