Glad to see another convert. I knew my docs were finally listening when one asked me last month if I was out of a med. When I told him almost, he wrote one 4 week script for the drugstore and one script for 3 month supplies, renewable 3 times.
I don't think this is the place for someone who needs a round of antibiotics one winter, but for those of us who have ongoing medical issues, it sure saves a ton of money.

Medco Health Mail Order has saved me a lot of money by ordering for a 3 month supply. 6 Prescriptions cost me $196.37 while at the retail pharmacy it would be $330.00 for 3 months. See what a difference it makes. I say mail order now.gerirn

...if you combine with a tax-free medical savings program at work. Check and see if you folks are eligible for one. Reducing your effective medication costs by your tax rate is great in and of itself.

.......check this out. Hubby is on about 5 meds daily that will be long term....that could add up to be quite a bit of savings!
