INTRO
Have you ever wanted the ultimate portable games machine? Well now you can have it buy buying the InterAct Color LCD screen. This Screen for the Nintendo Gamecube has got to be one of the best ideas ever! Yes i know that there was a screen for the PS1, but i didn't think that was very good. I was a little skeptical at buying this screen for that reason, but oh boy was i wrong to doubt!
PERFORMANCE/HARDWARE
The Screen can actually be used on any of the newer games systems! Gamecube, Xbox, PS2 and even the PS1. It can also be hooked up to a VCR or DVD player. It connects very easily; you just plug it into the available AV sockets on the back of any of those devices. The Interact Screen is a must have for gamers who want to turn their Gamecube into a truly portable device. It especially comes in handy on long car journeys. This screen includes an in-car adapter lead, which powers your Gamecube and the Screen via the cars cigarette lighter socket (very cool). There is also a AC Adaptor Included, so you can use the screen in your home, if you can't use your television because the wife’s watching some stupid sit-com!
The screen itself has brightness and contrast controls and has stereo speakers built in, which have a separate volume control, and is actually louder then you might think at full volume. The sound quality is clean and crisp. 2 Headphone jacks are also built into the screen incase the sounds coming from it annoy people around you, the sound quality from the headphones is awesome! you get good clear 3D stereo sound. The actual screen size is 5.6”, which offers an easy to see picture. The Picture can get a little blurry at times, and sometimes the colors look dull even after tweaking the brightness and contrast settings. When you are not using the screen it can easily fold down on top of the Gamecube and be out of your way.
Overall this is a great bit of kit a reasonable price! if you cannot do without your Gamecube when going on long journeys or if you simply want it as an additional TV set this is great,
