My experience with my i85s will be the shortest time frame that I have owned a cell phone. I had numerous problems with my i1000plus, so I purchased an i85s. This phone was great for a while. Then I started getting numerous charging errors and phone freezes. Finally, my battery life went to less than half of original. This was unacceptable on an 9 month old phone with a Li-Ion battery. Nextel has informed me that my battery is out of warranty, although they replaced my phone for $35. The new phone has more charging problems than the old, and battery life is still dismal. Nextel says that the battery is more than 14 months old, and the warranty starts from date manufactured. I quit, this piece of junk goes tonight, and I am going back to Sprint. It is too bad though, Nextel has been a great service with decent customer support. Hopefully, they can find an OEM to build them a worthwhile phone.
